This is a discussion on Podolski - German - Football Wallpaper within the Football Wallpapers forums, part of the Football Graphics Community category; My 2nd ever wall, feedback appreciated...
Decent work mate but some parts could be better. Render effects are fine but you have to work more on blending the render with the background. Textures are randomly applied try to practice more on that part. BG is too simple, maybe to add some nice BG textures there. Try to use basic fonts like Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, Times New Roman and others because you have to keep text simple but effective and those fonts are best for that. My advice is to try our new GFX courses in which you can see how to make decent work step by step, layer by layer, here is the link, we have signature, icon and wallpaper courses - http://player-art.com/forum/player-art-graphics-course/

the textures used are good and the lighting is good
the render/stock is good but could have more textures infront of it
i am not to sure about the shadow render maybe could of been deasaturated
the text is good but could of been a better font imo
the colours used are good but maybe could of used some different colours
the b.g could be more filled up it seems a bit to empty maybe add some textures to it or something
