Right guys again this issue will be brought up. i dont want you to think im doing it to annoy you but we nedd to sort this out because its gone on long enough.
Spam is becoming a big issue for player-art and the staff lose all there time deleting it. so we are calling for you help, help us stop spam and make this forum alot better.
Player-art is the biggest growing new graphics forum there is, and with your help we can make this forum 100 times better than it already is.

The staff are going to start getting stricter and spamming will result in 0 tolerance. trust me if you spam you will be caught and banned for a few days and during those few days your posts will be deleted.
and you will have to start again.

Spamming means small comment on sigs such as;
-nice sig
-5/10 etc.
-i dont like it
on there own they are counted as spam but with a sentence or two then they are acceptable.
Also copy and pasting your comments is spam so dont do it.

when commenting on sigs avatars etc.
talk about the render, background, Font etc.

You should add this post of you to that PM that every user receive when they register in PA. Sorry for the english

Yeah good point. No-one cares if your post count is higher than someone elses, people prefur constructive and decent posts.

this is good post i dont like spam and id like to see less of it aswell, because i like reading my comments then youve got 1s that say dont like it, Cool sig, wooooow 9/10 you cant improve off them comment you need constructive

Totally agree.... When I just started here I actually got 8 posts deleted ;D.. Sorry mates, but I just wanted to see these damn tutorials ..

I agree. It's kinda annoying, when some people write "Nice sig" or "6/10". You can't use that to anything. I really hope people will some good comments.

glad peopel are replying to this. i hope you all start posting better your selfs rvrn thought most of you are help us fight spam. if you see if send us a link in here and we will delete it as soon as possible.

Another great help for us is if you find spams you can report the name who have did it and also you can post here the link of the thread, so for us is more easy to delete them.

nope it hasn't been a big problem, our rules clearly state that no kind of advertising is allowed in here.. and when someone breaks that rule they get warned and/or banned.
and speaking of it, i removed your signature, linking to other sites in your sig is breaking that rule - consider this your warning

we want a friendly atmosphere in here, so wishing someone good luck is not a big problem

how was it linking? i didnt notice it

and we banned and deleted their posts, plus its in the rules that you cant do it, but they continue to, i was wondering if you have any tips other than what we are already doing

hey when an admin remove your sig you don't put it back up the next minute at the bottom of your sig - in big letters - it says www..... that is what is called a link. so once again - sig removed and if you put it back up again i will take further actions.

no i don't have any other tips - we delte their posts, send a warning pm and/or ban them and it works for us.

of course you can say "good sig, i really love it", but then you also say what makes it good and what you love about it. how are we supposed to improve our graphics when the only reply we get is "good sig i like it" or "bad i dont like it"?

oh yes it does.. in your picture.. behind the render, with blue text - and if you still can't see it give me the link to your sig and i will put a big fat red circle around it for you in paint

and if you want to remove the link from your sig you have to open your psd and delete the layer with the link you didn't ask how to fix it did you lol
