i have a pretty good idea... i dont know if it has been suggested before

but what about..

8, 16, 32 person knock out competiton

so get all the people who want to compete obviously on of these numbers so it will work out even

make a draw switch could make the draw, then once the person wins a 1 vs 1 they enter the next round but say like battle 1 winner plays battle 2 winner and so on... id take sole responsibity of this if you will let me... it will be likr a player art championsleague

i really like this idea and i know exactly it should be done so if any mods think it is a good idea pm me...

the rules would be

1 week to enter each week

the winner of there battle advances

the loser leaves the competition

im sure if we really plan it it can go really well.... can i? anyway mods let me know what u think

and maybe the winner could have a special forum title hehe

i saw it on another foruns, it's a nice idea but a bit complicated because we have our SOTW too.

what about if it it properly planned, or we could do a test run first with 8 ppl

see even if just the regulars enter at the start of the comp theres 16...

anyways, we have been talking about this all summer, and at the moment we don't know if enough members would enter..

MY FINAL PROPOSAL TO THE MODS:

player art cup.

The Rules:

first off I will get a shortlist to see who wants to enrole.
if there is more than 16 jaum will chose who misses out, this will be based on activness.

then the draw will be made by either me, jaum or switch.. this will be a set draw and it will line out the competition in full. just like the world cup draw
if its me that does it ill record it do theres no fix. with my camera.

+ the topic each week will be soccer any form, 500x200 maximum size. no animated.
+ fixtures and results will be anounced on monday, at 8am gmt.
+ competitors will have till saturday night 11pm gmt to publish there entry this leaves 6 days, leaving a good day or so for voting.
+ if one member doesnt enter then there competitor has a by.
+ the mods will vote for each battle just voting for 1 or the other just like a normal battle. and it will be the first to 5. until the final then it will be to 7.
+ a mod cannot vote if they are in a battle, but they can vote in any other battle. there is enougth mods to reach 5 even if one is in a battle.
+ by mods i mean, admins, mods, senior members, elite designers.
+ at the end of the competition the winner will get a special forum tag, just like the mods&such.
that will be decided on clarification that this goes ahead by all the admins.

here is my proposal and i really mean business, if you think that this will fail, then really the only person that will fail is me and personally i dont think it will.. i have faith and dedication.
if you give this a discuss over as a final proposal with everyone and talk to me even if it is a win or lose, i beleive this can work, and easily we have enougth members.

But if you look i tried this about a month ago and it fell through

i know i saw that, but we have over 2 thousand members [what is 16?] and it someone actually takes action then.. you never know i saw you triend but if we really do try then i think it would work...

i had an idea like this but cant be assed to sort it but i might do it soon.

great idea i think we should do this in the near future we have alot going on at the moment but we should do this in the future.

Yea we really appreciate your idea and your help DJ. But we've got some trouble at the moment, switch cant be online because he has family problems, and we organised a new elite designer lounge, we just have a new mod, scottytrent, and we are looking for another new mod. And there are more ideas and things we really have to do, so i hope you understand we can't realise this right now

Thought i might let you know what i think of the idea mate, and wondered if there is a few short i could enter as the likelyhood of me being more active than others is unlikely as since joining this site i stopped making graphics. The idea sounds good and i would personally let you do it if i was admin as to construct numerous posts as you have you must be interested in the idea.
